| Family Information Married to Anuradha Potu.Rao, a Part time Dentist works 1-2 days a week in private practice.We have three daughters Meenakshi 19 yrs, in second year of college, Rohini 15 yrs 9Th grade and Krishnaveni 10 yrs in 5Th grade. | Other Information I trained both as a Pediatrician as well as an Anesthesiologist, back to back residencies in Baylor College of Medicine , Houston ,Texas.I am in private practice in a large group called Greater Houston Anesthesiology. My field of interest is Regional Anesthesia for Orthopedic Surgery.Our group has contract to provide Anesthesia services at The Methodist Hospital, Texas Orthopedic Hospital and three other Methodist sites. Under my leadership our group provides Sports Medicine services to Houston NFL-Texans,MLB-Astros and MLS- Dynamo teams.My lone hobby is road cycling, 95% of my free time is spent on the saddle. Inspired by fellow Texan Lance Armstrong, we have a Peloton(group of cyclists) of 7 of my partners. We ride about 50 miles to 60 miles on Saturdays and average 18-20 MPH. Having family and friends over to our house is another of my interests. |
